Our veterinarians are proficient in surgery and can perform a variety of elective and non-elective surgeries to keep your pet healthy.
Surgery - What to Expect:
- We perform routine surgeries such as spays/neuters and dental cleanings.
- We also perform non-routine surgeries such as growth removals, gastrointestinal surgeries (obstructions and mass removals), and minor orthopedic surgeries.
- Your pet will be screened for health concerns before surgery to ensure that our anesthetic procedures are as safe as possible and have the best outcome.
- All pets are monitored by our trained technicians using advanced monitoring devices.
*Important To Know*
We recommend spaying and neutering all pets for their safety. By doing so, the risk of cancers and unwanted behaviors can be significantly decreased.
Dental - What To Expect:
- We start with pre-anesthetic bloodwork and physical exam before sedation.
- Before the procedure, we place an IV catheter and fully sedate your pet.
- Then, we perform an oral exam to screen for gingivitis, gum disease, growths, and tooth damage/fractures.
- Next, we perform ultrasonic scaling, which consists of a thorough cleaning and polishing of the teeth.
- Finally, we apply a coating (Oravet) to protect your pet’s teeth from tartar build-up.
*Important To Know*
Dental infections can affect nearly every single one of your pet’s internal organs. So, keeping your pet's teeth clean is just as important as keeping your own teeth clean!
