Martrell
|
Martrell is from Birmingham, AL. He has been a Vet Assistant at AVC for over a year now and is thankful for all of the experience he has gained that will prepare him for his future career as a veterinarian. Martrell plans on joining the Air Force Reserves soon and plans to, afterwards, attend Auburn University in his pursuit to become a DVM. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with his pets DJ and Blu. Martrell also has a strong love for theatre since it has changed his life in so many positive ways! |

Haley

Haley is from Enterprise, Alabama. She attended University of Alabama Birmingham where she earned a degree in Biology. Haley recently completed her certification in Companion Animal Pain Managment from the Veterinary Academy of Higher Learning, which is a 28 hour course that helps veterinarians and vet techs identify the pathologies that will benefit from effective pain management practices. Haley enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her dog, Winston. Her favorite part of working at AVC is interacting with our wonderful clients. Her co-workers describe her as kind, patient, and optimistic. |

Shondrea

Shondrea is from Bessemer, AL and is currently attending Jefferson State Community College in their Veterinary Technology program. She has been working at AVC for four years and loves how all of her co-workers are so caring, welcoming, and willing to help. Shondrea also loves how she is always able to laugh and have fun while doing what she loves at work. In her free time, she enjoys to gardening, roller-skating, and spending time with husband and 4 children. Shondrea is also a fur-mom to Deacon Blue, a 1-year-old Pitbull, and Panther, a 12-year-old Cocker Spaniel Mix. |

Ryan is originally from Los Angeles, California but moved here to be with family. He is currently studying to be a veterinary technician at Jefferson State Community. Ryan enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and going to trivia/puzzle nights with friends. His favorite thing about AVC is all the patients he gets to help and his wonderful co-workers. His co-workers would describe him as funny, helpful, and calm. |

Elizabeth, who is originally from Vestavia, graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Elizabeth plans on continuing her education to become a licensed Veterinary Technician. She enjoys doing crosswords, reading about current events, and playing guitar. Her favorite things about working at AVC is the way everyone works as a team and the wonderful working environment. She is described as kindhearted, understanding, and dependable. |

Shania is from Miami, Florida and currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama. She hopes to become a licensed veterinary technician someday. Her hobbies include drawing, and riding motorcycles.
