Katheren
|
Katheren, our office manager, is a resident of Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated Jefferson State Community College in 2011 with a pastry degree. Though her passion lies in creating delicious meals, her heart led her to change paths. She has always had a love for animals, and now that love is able to shine! Her favorite thing about working at AVC is being able to see the clients' smiling faces as well as their furry family members every day. Outside of work, Katheren enjoys cooking, spending time with family, and caring for Emma. Her co-workers describe her as passionate, fun, and outgoing. |

Opal

Opal was born in San Diego, California, and grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. Her favorite thing about working at AVC is the family like environment and how nice all of our customers are. Her hobbies are hula hooping, hiking, taking care of her two dogs, Xena and Sequoia🌈, and spending time with her son, Sawyer, and her husband, Blake. Opal's co-workers describe her as caring, helpful, and outgoing. |

Kaela

Kaela was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL, but has spent most of her life in Jackson, MS. She attended Mississippi State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in biology and then moved to Birmingham with her husband, Charlie. Kaela enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her dog Link. Her favorite thing about working at AVC is the family -oriented environment including friendly clients, supportive co-workers, and doctors who are always willing to help in any situation. Her co-workers would describe her as dependable, caring, and driven. |

Melanie is from Hoover, Alabama. She
Melanie spends her free time reading, watching her two boys Dalton and Reese play sports, and hanging out with her dog Mojo. Her favorite part about working at AVC is the fast-paced and dynamic workplace with a great learning environment. Gena

Gena is from Wilsonville, Alabama. She is currently a student at Jefferson State Community College, where she is studying chemistry. Her hobbies include reading, crocheting, and spending time with her dog, Hannah, and her chinchillas, Willow and Dumplin. Her favorite part of working at AVC is the friendly work environment. Her co-workers would describe her as passionate, organized, and caring.

Maya is from Enterprise, Alabama. She is currently enrolled in University of Alabama Birmingham, where she is studying biomedical sciences with a minor in psychology and chemistry. Her hobbies include napping, listening to Pitbull, and spending time with her dog, Winston. Her favorite part about working at AVC is seeing new puppies at their first appointments. Her co-workers would describe her as funny and extroverted.

Brandy

Brandy was born and raised in Anniston, Alabama. She attended Oxford High school and then continued her studies at the University of Alabama where she earned a bachelor of science in nursing. She enjoys long walks, and attending all of her children's various sporting events. She has 2 dogs named Philly and Croissant, a frog named Wart, and a fish named Bubbles. He favorite part about working at AVC is interacting with the awesome people. Her co-workers describe her as friendly and fun.
